Titles elude me. They always have. I swear i spend more time thinking of them than i do actually thinking of what i want to write. This particular title was randomly chosen for the fact i have Skullcandys on my head now. It could be worse. On my left, is the storybook "Peter Rabbit: Easter Egg Hunt". =P
I tend to write only for three motives:
1. I get a great idea for a story, a blog post, etc.
2. I'm in extreme joy/sadness and my feelings help really well. I am, after all, writing in a blog, which is basically a personal diary.
3. I need to ramble until my brain hits the creative thinking spot. Think of it as a game of pinball. i type to let my thought zing around my head until i find the one i want.
In this case, I'm influenced by number 2.
“Instead of cursing the darkness, light a candle.”
| — | Benjamin Franklin I found this quote on Tumblr. A couple of hours ago, i posted it, thinking "What if you run out of matches, and the fire still won't start?" But the candle did light up. =) Recently i acquired a virus in my computer, that hides all your programs and files, and feed you pop-ups claiming the hard drive is unreadable, and thus, the programs are gone. The worst part was, i just spent a whole hour of my afternoon writing a new 900 word chapter for one of the stories i'm writing. And when all my files disappeared, and my chapter gone as well, i kinda had no mood to write anymore. It seemed like a waste. I didn't feel like rewriting that chapter anymore, because i felt like that was one of the best attempts i put forward in that chapter. I revised it over and over, and did a lot of research to make sure every detail was just right. Then it disappeared! I was really moody with the computer. =( "Persevere, Clare.
