I havent blogged for quite some time now. Update on PMR first, then JOTI?
Emm, PMR. I expected to feel really nervous and to have butterflies in my stomach the whole time. I didn't know how hard the exams would be and i was worried all those practice tests would actually have been much easier than the exam itself. But to be honest, it wasnt too bad. When i woke up on that first day, there was really nothing to feel nervous about. It was BM, after all.
I'm the type of person who doesnt read the facts about the novels. Usually, i prefer to read the whole novel. After that, i dont really need to read the info we're supplied to know about a character's traits, and i have evidence from the novel as well. So...yeah. We were all kind of worried about masyarakat tempat coming out during the exam, because they haven't put that question before, and i think they might change the novels next year? It turned out that the most important thing to read was form 3. I know a lot of people focused on form 1 and form 2 in case they asked for comparison between 2 books, but this year they asked about the character traits of one character in our form 3 novel, which was Panas Salju. That was the only option, because the other novels would have been from other states.
Sejarah was a bit hard, but after PMR i checked out the answers somewhere online. 49/60. I'm not too happy with it, but i hope its enough to ace. It actually helped that me and Pei Er were doing this 2006 past question paper? About 4 questions came out.
Geografi was quite easy, considering the fact i only seriously started to study a month before PMR. Honestly, i never understood how people could ace it without studying. I know a lot of people said it was common sense, but i didnt understand how. So through these 3 years, i always focused on other subjects instead of geografi whenever we had exams. I guess it helps to study the maps and learn all the locations?
Emm Science. It was seriously easier than i expected. I read the whole reference book for the JPS trial in August/September(?) and i didnt really have time to read Science the night before the pmr exam. But i'd say it went well.
If there was one subject i'm a hundred percent not confident in, it would be kemahiran hidup. I seriously suck at wires and screwdrivers and pipes and all that.
