JOTI Camp!

I guess this is slightly late as well. On the 15-16th of October, me, Cassandra, Michelle, Jing Jade, Bi Jun, Li Yen, Pei Yuin, Yew Shiung and You Qun went to JOTI camp at Sri KL primary.

Ahh, i woke up at 5 am because our gang was supposed to meet at Seafield at 6:15 am, then go to Sri KL by 7:30am. Haha. I actually only arrived at 6:20. It was all really messed up. We told Yew Shiung to come at 6am because we were told that if anyone was late, the whole troop might be banned from the camp. In the end, he was the earliest person among all of us there. Haha. =)

We arrived to Sri KL at about 7am? 2 separate cars thanks to Cassandra and Michelle's parents. Michelle's car actually disappeared halfway through the ride, and the arrived a bit later than we did. Emm there wasn't many people there though, but we saw some of our ex seniors. =) 

We met a lot of people by randomly going up to them and saying hi. I guess it was the appropriate thing to do. Not to be troopist. =) Then finally we had to choose our partner. I think the only reason i randomly went up to people to introduce myself was because of this partner thing. Know more people? Anyway, my partner was Lim Kai Syn. For me, i couldnt have asked for a better partner. She was extremely enthusiastic about everything, and she could look at something she googled and list out the key points of the page in a short time. She also asked me a lot of times if i was feeling okay when i coughed a lot. =)

Our phase was I.U. International Understanding. It took a long time to finish all the details about the 3 countries. Plus Kai Syn said we should look at all the tasks we should do first. One of them was to identify the logo they gave and write facts about it. That was kinda hard cause we had no idea how to find the logo out? 

This was the logo. But we saw the thingies in the middle looked like continents? So i googled up stuff like Commonwealth or United Nations. UNITED NATIONS. BINGO.

MK was super fun. =) I think it was one of the few times we managed to think up something in a really short time, and actually rehearse it afterwards. Everyone in my patrol (Owh, its patrol Google btw) gave lots of interesting ideas and wasnt paiseh about performing weird roles. =P

Then we could finally sleep at nearly 2am? Pei Yuin told me i looked like i wanted to vomit. I guess she was joking, but i really felt like it at that time. ._. So i went down to the teachers room where all the seniors were. I stayed there the whole time. I only slept for about 2 hours though. I only managed to sleep at 4am and kind of woke up at 5 or 6 am. Then i pretended to sleep for a while longer. ._.

Anyway, in the end, i couldnt stand it anymore. I called my mum and she came to Sri KL with my brother. But to be honest, i was glad some of the ex ex council were there. All the seniors looked after me and joked around and stuff. If i were to think back to JOTI, i think the only thing i would remember was the teachers room.

But all in all. It was seriously an awesome camp. =) Even the time i spent in the teachers room. =) The food was awesome, mainly cause we didnt have to clean up and cook ourselves. =)
