Second set of trials just over. It kinda surprised me how the Jabatan Pelajaran Selangor trials were somewhat easier than the Seafield trials. It could be due to the increase of studying, but it could also be that Seafield trials are just plain hard. Who knows. Que sera sera. Just learn from whatever mistakes made in the previous paper, and apply it in the coming papers.
The English paper, for example. All students get A's for English, right? At the very least over 30/40 for Paper 1? Our English teacher graded our Paper 2's really really badly. Out of the 50 points for Paper 2, four fifths of the class got about 20/50 - 29-50. Extremely rarely over 30. So most of them didn't get As. I managed to ace it, though, with 37/40 for Paper 1 and 37/50 for Paper 2. 82 marks.
Sejarah, for example. I used to get 60s a whole lot but thanks to encouragements from *someone*, I got 73 in my mid years, where they tested form 1, form 2 and 3 chapters of form 3. In the Seafield trials, i got 70, but theres still some stuff i didnt study yet, so i still know where i can improve. =) And i'm glad to know my teacher believe in me so much she asked me to tutor my brother, who is failing his Sejarah. =O
Part of me is scared i won't get achievements quick enough. I'm aiming to join the pure science stream, if i can. But i don't know if i can. Then theres the part of me where i just can't wait for PMR to be over, so i can do all those things i've wanted to do for a while now....get contact lenses, go to guitar lessons, have movie marathons, and just relax. And worry about the coming year. Heh.
